Croeso i Aberarthur - Welcome to Aberarthur

We're sure that you're curious to know more about the course, so we've included the text of the very first story here in Adobe Acrobat format. 

When you open it you'll see that the Welsh and English are printed side-by-side, so you'll always have all the vocabulary to hand. Remember that you'll also have the story read in Welsh three times on your CD; once alone, once with Classical music, and once with Baroque music. These three recordings, together with the relaxation tracks, will help cement the language in your memory. The exercises will then help you bring the language to your conscious mind.

The stories take place in and around the Welsh hamlet of Aberarthur where today a stranger arrives. You'll soon be following the adventures of Dafydd, Mari Jên and Carlo the Welsh sheepdog with interest, as the story unfolds with each lesson. You'll pick up huge amounts of vocabulary and tenses with ease, plus a good dose of Welsh folklore and humour.
